Adam And Eve: “The Gay Version”
Sunday, October 18th, 2009If God Created Everything, Then Why Did He Have To Make Creationists Lie?
Saturday, September 26th, 2009You know Kirk Cameron. He was a 1980′s sitcom actor now playing the sitcom of real life as a mouthpiece for creationists. He is going to distribute copies of Darwin’s “Origin of Species” in November. It is the 150th anniversary of its publication. Cameron’s version has a nifty 50-page introduction letting the reader know a lot of neat things about Darwin. According to Cameron, he hated women and was a Nazi before his time.
Okay, that is an exaggeration, but Cameron says that the introduction he is distributing ties Hitler to evolution. I doubt if he mentions that Hitler also considered himself a Christian.
The parts that get me is Cameron’s statement in this video that kid can no longer “pray in public.” I assume he means they can’t “pray in public schools.” Ah, conveniently forgot the school part. Fortunately, we still have free speech laws that let you say what you want on Main Street or in a park.
However, Cameron also throws Einstein into the pot as a doubter of evolution. This is a blatant lie. Einstein did not call himself an atheist, but he doubted traditional religion. If you read his writings and listen to his statements, he is somewhere between a deist, pantheist and agnostic. I don’t know a bad word he ever said about Darwin or evolution.
I assume that if you believe creationism is the truth, then you believe that God wants you to lie, finagle and distort to get the word out.

Homosexuality Explained: It’s Fallen Angels Raping Children
Monday, September 7th, 2009I never knew fiction could be so good. This guy is certain he has discovered why homosexuality and sexual deviancy exists in the world. It is fallen angels raping children in their dreams.
Now I want him to explain the prevalence of homosexuality in the animal kingdom. Animals have souls? Fallen penguin and primate angels rape little penguins and primates?
It is simpler for some people to believe than to follow the logical path to truth.
When You Want To Believe, Then You Will Believe Anything
Saturday, August 15th, 2009I’ve seen similar “experiments” by people who say nice feelings do the same thing with water crystals. These guys think that the Koran will do the same thing because its “holy words” alter water. They believe it will do wonderful things to people because we are two-thirds water. Another suggests that water purified by Koran readings might soon be sold.
I bet there is a scammer getting ready for that now.
This is no different from the quacks in the nineteenth century who thought the newly harnessed power of electricity would do great things for the human body. Of course, magnets are a perennial favorite to cure disease too, but I regress from the video at hand. My point being that someone always comes along with something new to impress a few fools.
Masaru Emoto is the man generally associated with the water crystal “feel good” changes. Here is an article pointing out the unscientific premise of his work. Emoto was prominently featured in the 2004 film “What the #$*! Do We Know?” Here is a skeptic approach to it.
I’m not sure, but I think that is Emoto in this video. That would explain everything. At the very least its one of his disciples.
What I find interesting is that in 2004 New Age spiritualists were enthralled with Emoto’s idea. Now, in this video, devout Muslims are sucked into the same fantasy. At least in “What the #$*! Do We Know?,” Emoto convinced people that all good feelings caused these changes in water. In his view, water operated as some kind of universal translator for good feelings.
In this video, these guys think its just Allah and Islam doing it. I don’t notice Emoto or whomever it is jumping forward to say that writing the name of Moses, Jesus or Buddha onto a glass water will do the same thing.
Religious Bigotry Meets Homophobia
Friday, July 3rd, 2009What can be said? It’s intolerance like this that makes things so wrong in the world. Yes, this young man came to the church wanting to be changed, but that the guilt religion imposes on people. If God really hated homosexuals, how come he would create a world of nature filled with it? Nearly every animal species in the world engages in homosexuality. I want to hear a religous believer explain that.
